Oenotropae
The king of Delos, Anius, and Dorippe had many children, among which were the three Nymphs of Delos, called Oenotropae. Their names, Oeno, Spermo and Elais, refer to the main elements of our nutrition, namely wheat, wine and oil; Dionysus offered them the gift to make all three to spring from the ground.
When the Greek fleet stopped in Delos on their way to Troy, King Anius got the sisters to stock the ships with food for their journey. Agamemnon was impressed with their powers and decided to abduct the sisters to continue feeding his army. The sisters escaped but were betrayed by their brothers and captured again. As they were about to be bound, Dionysus turned them into white doves.
